My name is Tracy Madden and I am a
CBT
therapist who offers face to face therapy to teenagers and adults in Glasgow.
My practice is currently located in The Wellbeing Rooms in Stepps.
I believe that we are all capable of change and that compassion, for ourselves
and others, is instrumental in facilitating the changes we want in our lives.
As your therapist, I would offer you acceptance, genuineness and empathy. I would help you to identify your therapeutic goals and, in doing so, to take the first big step towards change. Thereafter, I would work collaboratively with you and help you to take the
additional steps necessary to address issues such as: low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship problems and addiction.
I pride myself on my down to earth and pragmatic approach to therapy. I am an integrative practitioner and this means that I would use tools and techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and also those from other modalities, such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Person Centred Therapy and Mindfulness to help you achieve your goals.
I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and my qualifications include: COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills; SCOTACS Diploma in Counselling in Groupwork; ASIST Certificate in Applied Suicide Intervention
